Ghost of Kaş

Why Ghost of Kaş exists

Our studio is called Aperlai. It is not a made-up word: Aperlai is a real Lycian harbour town on the Sıçak peninsula near Kaş, lowered into the sea by earthquakes fifteen centuries ago. When you name your company after a drowned city, sooner or later you owe it a proper introduction. This site is that debt being paid.

Ghost of Kaş is a curated guide to the experiences we think are genuinely worth your time on this coast — the sunken city of Kekova, the kayak route that passes right over it, the canyon, the dives, the small Greek island across the water. We write the honest version: what things actually look like, what they cost, and who should skip what.

Three rules we hold ourselves to. Real prices, clearly marked as typical season rates. No fake reviews and no invented ratings — when you see a rating here one day, it will be from a real guest. And only licensed operators: every boat, dive centre and agency we point to holds the certificates the law requires.

Today we are a guide that routes you to licensed booking channels. From the 2027 season, together with licensed local partners, we begin operating our own signature days — starting with Aperlai itself. It felt right that the first tour we build should go home.
